Dentures have many functional disadvantages such as falling of the dentures, cause of wounds etc. Because of this, nowadays dentures are placed on dental implants: 4 implants (ALL ON 4) or on 6 implants (ALL ON 6). When the dentures are fixated on implants they are firmer, do not cause decubitus (wounds) and all in all offer a much better esthetic appearance.
