Combined prosthesis

Combined prosthesis

Combined prosthesis is a combination of fixed and mobile prosthesis with separate connections-attachments-anchors that are placed on the bridge and in the prosthesis. These attachments are designed in such a way that they merge and thus prevent the movement of the prosthesis.

Such designs offer better aesthetics and function of the partial dentures since the prosthesis will be firmly mounted in the oral cavity and there are no “hooks” visible. Such connections extend the duration of the preparation of prosthetic constructions and make it more expensive, however the satisfaction of patients, both in regards to its aesthetics and functionality, lead to their vast implementation in modern prosthetics.
